Weekend

Collecting stones on the beach
Choosing the best fruit
Saturday, Matt was playing cricket in Bolton-le-Sands so we decided to head over there together for a play on the beach and lunch before saying good luck to Matt.  Tom and I then headed over to Hest Bank for a play (relocating stones on the beach) and watch the trains.  We then stopped by Aldi to pick up yet more smoked salmon for his nibs and then to the PYO farm to do some raspberry picking ready for another jam production run and then headed home to make Matt an Ecclefechan Tart for his birthday cake - only just made it in time as unfortunately Ingleton Cricket team got hammered again.  A quite but useful day.

Birthday Tart
Wet boys on a walk
Sunday Tom played cricket in the morning, we then went to Inglesport for lunch and then over to Gearstones (on the way to Hawes for a walk).  The weather man said that it was going to rain in the morning and cheer up in the afternoon.  He got it wrong.  It rained during the walk, well actually for most of the walk.  In fact we missed the main features on the walk because we had our heads down trying to keep the rain out of our eyes.  Not the best walk we have ever done, but Tom didn't complain once, in fact I'm not even sure he noticed the rain?!!!  What a trooper!
