Quiet Weekend

French tart
Saturday: Matt went to play cricket in Ambleside, we went with him as far as Sizergh Barn, had lunch and then Matt went on to his match and Tom and I did the farm walk.  Mistake.  HUGE MISTAKE I had a big attack of hay fever and spent the rest of the day feeling rubbish.  I drove home and we had a quiet afternoon.

Obeying the Sergeant Major

Sunday:  it was 1940s weekend in Ingleton this weekend, so we spent the day in the village.  Tom did 2 parades with the cubs - the first one was a remembrance parade at 10am and the second the big parade with all the vintage cars etc.  Matt and I sort of dressed up - as much as we could anyway.  It worked as a 'French Tart' came up to him and told him what a lovely pert bum he has!

We had a lovely day - watched some dancing, sat in the square with a drink and just enjoyed being in the sunshine and a busy village.  Such a shame the village is normally quiet - it looks good with people in it.
