Back home

Not much to say about today, but we have a brilliant photo so thought we should share it with you.

Most of the day was spent getting from Plymouth back home to Telford. We left at 9.45. Tom fell asleep and stayed asleep for over an hour which was good going. He also stayed cheery until we got to Cribbs Causeway where we got out to stretch our legs and have lunch.

We stayed there for 2 hours, Matt got a bargain pair of Gortex boots from Clarks, I got a cake tin from John Lewis and Tom got some new sandals from Next (very exciting aren't we). Tom had a good run around so we were hoping he would fall asleep in the car. WRONG! He refused to sleep at all, the the second half of the journey wasn't quite as relaxing as it could have been, but he wasn't too bad. Ate for England again in the car - ate me completely out of snacks - he must be on a growth spurt at the moment!

Got home at 4pm, put Tom down in his cot for half an hour whilst we emptied the car. Then up for play, and did he play - he spent the afternoon loonying around big time! He also ate a mammoth dinner - I thought the snacks would ruin his appetite. I was wrong! Then bath, milk and bed. Haven't heard from him yet.
