We seem to be getting Tom weighed at 6-weekly intervals these days. The last 6 week period saw him put on a whole 1 oz, which concerned us a bit, but this time his weight had shot up by no less than 2lb 7oz. That's more like it, and might explain why we're both getting so knackered lugging him about. Anyway, he now weighs 24lb 6oz (over 11kg), which is pretty much what he should be.
It's been a fairly run-of-mill week, me with a busy translation schedule, Nik with a number of cake orders, and Tom behaving like an utter loony. He didn't sleep during either of his mornings at nursery, both times arriving home in the state shown in the photo, that is, a zombie with a dummy. Up until this week, that would have ensured a good 2 hours sleep during the afternoon, but on both Tuesday and Wednesday, he only went down for 30 minutes before waking up screaming and being generally inconsolable for a god while after getting up. Today was better though, and he slept for about 90 minutes after lunch before waking up a happy chappy. Let's hope it was just a temporary blip.
We're off to Yorkshire house-hunting this weekend, so we're hoping that he sleeps well at Kathy & Paul's. He also has a job to do in cheering up Kathy, whose Mum (my Godmother, Betty) isn't at all well at the moment.

Nice to know Tom is a god already. No wonder he is inconsolable given the state of the human race!
