Harry Potter's cake is mega

Not much to report today. I finished the Harry Potter cake I've been working on - it is huge, way bigger that I meant it to be. Oh hum, it is mega heavy as well, just hope the client has strong arms. The cake is supposed to feed 70, I think it might feed 140! Lesson learnt for next time to make smaller cakes. I guess it is better to over cater than to under cater. Here's a pic anyway.

Picked up Tom from nursery at 1. He had had a good day but was tired. The manager of the baby room said something nice: that she would love 15 Toms in her room, as he is a joy to be with. How nice.

After his nap, we went to Telford Town Park. We were going to go for a walk in the Japanese Gardens (they are looking really pretty at the moment as the trees are all turning red, brown and orange). Got there to find they had been locked. I asked why at the information point and was told that they were closed due to Health and Safety. When there is heavy rain, the decking gets slippy and it is too dangerous for the public. There wasn't any heavy rain - just a light shower. Phaaaaaaaa! Tom had extra time on the swings as a result, not a problem, but we both enjoy stomping around the gardens.
