Once up we headed off to Asda to pick up some cakey things (Vera wanted to make some cup cakes with me), then to Wyevale to pick up some vegetable plants (never got round to sowing some seeds this year) and then the golf club for lunch. Tom finished off his pasta from yesterday and as you can see from the video, made a right mess.
We came home, Tom had a nap and we made lemon cup cakes (experimented again today. Put some lemon curd in the middle as a 'suprise' which worked well). We also made some daisies to put on them. Matt got back from Scotland around 3pm and looked suprisingly well for someone who had riden through rain, hail, fog and snow to get home.
Vera got out a walker that Julie had given her for Tom when he woke up and we took him outside with it. He LOVED it, it is much lighter than the trolley he has been using, meaning that he was able to steer it around obstacles. He spent quite a while on it and was very pleased with himself.
