Funny Sheep

Last night wasn't too bad - awake at 11pm and 2pm - fed him back to sleep both times. He then woke up at 6, so I put him in bed with me, where after a lot of hair pulling, punching, slapping etc he finally managed to nod off again, until his Dad disturbed him!

He went for a play with Granma and Pop Pop in bed, whilst I made another fruit cake - for my second college cake. We decided to go to Hoo Farm today, to see if Tom is interested in animals. He did ok. I had to carry him in the Baby Bjorn at the start so he could see the animals in the barns - pigs, snakes, horses, snails, fish etc. We then went for a woodland walk, saw lots of haunted cabins - the place has gone Halloween mad - witches, pumpkins and ghouls all over the place.

After a long lunch (Tom once again refusing to eat much) we did the rest of the farm. Tom then had a swing before watching the Sheep Derby - which was as funny as ever. We backed 3 of the 6 sheep, but didn't win! Came home, Tom spent some more time trying to crawl - he is definitely creeping, but can't work out the mechanics of crawling.

Jude came round late afternoon to collect various things to take down to Pat and Bob later this week. Tom was very funny, kept giving her the eye - he was so serious, looking at her intensely - he would not smile for her at all. It was funny - just hope Jude hasn't got a complex now!
