Summer is Here!

Not a very good last night. Tom had me up at 1.40 for feeding, and then was up at 3.00, 3,30, 4,00, 4.30 (tried feeding at this stage to see if it made any difference), 5.00, 6.00 and 6.30. Of course by the time it came to 7.00 he was asleep - typical. His Dad managed to sleep through everything as well - humph!!!

Another beautiful day, so I dressed Tom in his first T-Shirt and shorts set. Didn't bother with a vest today - he was so hot and grumpy yesterday. Did our usual morning thing, but all a bit later than usual as I didn't get him up until 7.30. We then went to Newport (Somerfield are selling lamb legs at less than half price) and had lunch in the garden of The Fox - very nice, quite a few children and a set of twins a little older than Tom were there.

The afternoon saw us off to Dudley for a meeting of the Jet Alumni. We were entertained in the garden by Helen and Alan's little son, Ziyoun who was lovely and kept telling everyone to be quiet (when Tom was asleep) or to be careful (when Tom was on the grass). Very sweet. We were treated to Japanese curry before heading back home for bath and bed.
