It looks as if Nik & Tom's return from hospital will be slightly delayed. Nik has picked up a bit of an infection, and the staff have decided to keep her under observation until it clears up. On a positive note, they have been moved into a private room on the ward, for which you usually have to pay £50 a night, but which they are occupying free of charge. It's really rather nice. Reclining chair, huge bathroom...
Tom is still feeding (and pooing) like a trooper. No danger of him starving. He was feeding non-stop for nearly an hour twice today.
Anyway, here's hoping they can come home soon. It's a bit strange here on my own, and Jodie's wondering what's going on as well. All clingy every time I get back.
Oh yes, I found time to visit the registrar this afternoon, so Tom is now officially a human being.
