Had an interesting night last night. Tom actually managed to sleep for 5 hours, however, he woke at 2.45 and didn't really go back to sleep again! Spent the rest of the morning grizzling in his moses basket. Today is Mothering Sunday - Tom had got me a 'Little Monster' card saying he's sorry for all the sleepless nights and a bottle of rather nice looking Port - not sure if that's to help me or him sleep?
Had breakfast, then Jude came round for a cuddle. She really is a natural with Tom and Tom does really like her. It's end of term this week - shame she's off to Florida on holiday - I would have asked her if she wanted to spend some more time with him!
By now it was time for lunch, so we decided to go out. Ideally we wanted to go to the Riverside Pub in Cressage, but as it was mothering sunday it was fully booked. So we found ourselves in Shrewsbury. Tried The Armoury - but same story there. Round the corner we found a Wetherspoons Pub, with room and with nappy changing facilities. We found ourselves a quiet corner where we couldn't disturb anyone and had lunch.
Had a quick walk around the town - to show Vera the nice bits and ended up in the Quarry. Vera had an ice cream, but it was too cold for the rest of us.
Came home, gave Tom a feed and gave Tom to Vera for minding whilst I tried to get some much needed sleep. Matt cooked dinner which Tom slept through, meaning it was two handed and relaxed. We then took it in turns trying to keep Tom awake until 10pm.
Today I expressed milk for the first time, so Matt was able to feed Tom. Went well, except Tom demanded more milk after feeding - guess I need to express more tomorrow.
Oh - no poo at all today - very worrying!

I wouldn't worry too much if no poo - Jake has previously gone several days without and one of our NCT group went over a week without!!!!
