This morning was lovely, the sky was blue and it was warm outside, so we decided to go out. We had a look at local places to go to and decided on Rays Farm, just south of Bridgnorth. Tom fell asleep as usual during the car ride, but soon woke up when we arrived and he realised that he hadn't been fed for 2 hours. So we sat in the tea room, with drinks and cakes and Tom attached to me (I'm getting braver at breast feeding in public - although this time we were the only ones in the tea room).
Once Tom was finished (he always takes longer than us with each meal), we put him in the pram, with the back up so he could see the animals etc if he wanted to and went for a walk. Had a look at lots of owls, goats, sheep, pigs, horses etc, and then went for the long walk in the woods.
Was very pleasant, the owners are obviously into wood carving and the woods were littered with various sculptures which linked into nursery rhymes and children's stories (which was good as I seem to have forgotten most) Once we had finished we had lunch in the tea rooms (Tom slept through, so I had my first two handed lunch for a while) and then came home, where Tom had his lunch.
A very pleasant day. Challenge for this evening: a two handed dinner and for Tom to be awake for the web cam with his London grandparents this evening...
