I now have my own sand pit

Another good night (only a wake up at 10, when we were going to bed, so no hassle). The morning wasn't great though, he had done a MASSIVE poo. It was up under his armpits, absolutely revolting. The squirty poo hasn't come to an end, he's had it now for about 6 weeks, I guess it must just be a phase.

This morning, Tom and I went to Argos after a tip off from Granma (Devon) that they had some cut price sand pits. They certainly did so we bought one and some sand, Tom had such fun with the one in Devon, plus he stood for long periods of time without realising it.

We then went to Boots and used the voucher Tom received from Grannie and Grandpa (London) last Easter in their half price sale. Got some really nice clothes for him for when he is 2 (we have loads for 12-18 months and he's not big enough for those yet)

Came home, had lunch, put Tom down for his nap. At 1.30 we headed off to Bridgnorth for Gymbabes. There were only 4 of us this week so lots of special attention. Tom decided that this week he would crawl along the plank which is suspended about a meter off the the floor. I haven't seen him concentrate so hard in ages. The first time he did it, he was very slow and very deliberate. Next time he sped up, and by the end he was racing across it (not great, because he lost his focus, meaning I had to catch him as he veered off to one side)

Came home just in time for Tom to try out the sand pit. We think it was a success, he stayed standing for ages. He thought the sand was lovely and tasty, kept taking huge handfuls of it. Not sure how long he will continue to do that and I thought I was teaching him good taste!

He then went through the usual routine. Another day of a happy chappy, he really is on good form today.
