Little walk, big effort

Another bad night. I think we woke him up when we went to bed, not a problem, he just needed settling. He then woke up again at 2.30 and was in full scream mode. No amount of settling seemed to work. Eventually we sorted him out - he was thirsty and wanted some water. All this will be so much easier once he can talk. Took us a good while to get back to sleep though.

He woke up in a good mood and had a good breakfast before going for his morning nap. We then decided to go out. We were supposed to meet up with Rachel, Errol and Olly today for lunch and a walk, but Errol had come down with a stomach bug overnight so it got called off - not having much luck this Easter are we?

We were going to do a walk round Wilderhope Manor, near Longville, so we went on our own. The book said that it was an easy walk, all I can say was that both of us were huffing and puffing and glad to finish it and get to the pub. Tom couldn't see what we were making a fuss about!

We had a leisurely lunch at the pub, Tom ate loads and charmed 2 old ladies (of course). He fell asleep in the back of the car and then went down in his cot when we got home. Matt and I collapsed on the sofas and watched 'The Colditz Story' - it was all we were capable of.

He had a good afternoon, playing with us both, we definitely had a lot more giggles than grizzles. Tom had another good dinner, before bath, bed and bottle.

Good news - Tom did 3 poos today which was fab, unfortunately they were all squirty. I think I will give the Dr a call tomorrow for advice. He is eating well at the moment and is very happy and full of energy so not much can be wrong.

Oh, weighed myself today - i am 6 pounds lighter than this time last week - something to do with being ill I think. Wonder if it will stay off next week.
