An 11 and half hour sleep and a good swimming lesson - Tom is a star!

We had a fantastic night last night. Tom went to bed around 6.45pm and didn't wake again until 6.15am - we are getting there!!!!

We had an easy morning, doing not much - TV, nap and Asda for lunch we then went into Shrewsbury for Tom's last swimming lesson, which was a vast improvement on last time: no crying until the last 5 minutes, and even that was a bit half-hearted. I was quite proud of him. We then did a lightning tour of the shops of Shrewsbury, mostly provisions for next Saturday's do, including a smart outfit for Tom, which we hope he won't embellish like the left-hand photo here. That's broccoli by the way, we're not feeding him algae or anything.

We then had an early, and typically excellent, dinner at The Armoury before coming home for the usual bath and bottle. Tom did manage to incur his mother's displeasure by yet again rolling from his to back to his front while she wasn't looking. He's done it 4 or 5 times now, and Nik's missed it every time.

Nik & I are about to settle down and watch our first Blu-Ray film, 10,000BC. I'm expecting a terrible film that looks spectacular. (It was)
