Swimming again

So, it didn't work, a sleeping baby doesn't make a sleepy baby. Although it was wonderful to get stuff done yesterday during Tom's monster naps, he decided that he didn't need to sleep between 12am and 4am, so I had a very broken night's sleep. I guess in future, I won't allow him to sleep for so long during the day.

We both had a lie in this morning, we had a Skype chat booked with Grannie and Grampa London for 9am which is normally his nap time, but by letting him lie in for an hour, we managed to have him awake, although he refused to smile!

We decided to go into Shrewsbury early for a spot of shopping, bit of a nightmare as money seemed to flow through our fingers - with both of us finding reason to buy bits and bobs.

After lunch at the Hole in the Wall, we headed towards The Quarry swimming pool for Tom's 4th swimming lesson. He did do better this time, although he did cry for quite a bit of it. He did manage to do all the moves and went under water three times - he came up crying each time, but at least he completed it. Maybe next time he'll be even better. Sophie - the baby who had hysterics the first couple of times actually enjoyed herself this time. Tom was the only one to cry. Oh hum - I'm sure we will get there in the end.

Returned home and then spent the evening having a bbq with the extended Gouge family out front. A very pleasant evening was had by all as always. Tom has already woken up once this evening, Matt has managed to get him back off, he was arching his back quite a bit. Could this be reaction to dairy again? Do I need to stop again? Dilemma dilemma...
