How to rinse a teat

We had an OK night last night. Tom woke up at 2.30am for feeding and then at 5.00am for a grizzle and then again at 7am for feeding. This morning dawned dark and rainy, so we didn't hurry to get up and dressed, and anyway, Tom was in bed again at 8.15!

After a leisurely morning we had lunch and then set out to baby clinic for Tom's weekly weigh in. He is now 13lb 6oz, so well on the way to a stone.

He was in quite a good mood today - full of smiles and giggling - especially when I tickle his tummy. He is smiling more and more these days which is great - nice to get something back.

Matt did the usual bedtime routine, however, Tom refused his milk, it wasn't coming out of the teat very well. My fault, I rinsed it in boiling water and that isn't good for the teat, closes the hole. Another lesson learnt! He fell asleep with half a bottle still to go. Five minutes later he woke up crying so we tried again and managed to get a good chunk of what was left down him and put him down again.
