He was a grumpy man in the morning, crying for no reason I could find: he was fed, he had a clean nappy, he had had cuddles. He quietened down as soon as I put him in his pram and walked to Donnington Minis. He was extremely well behaved during the group, quite happily lying on a cushion, kicking away. Came home, he allowed us time to make and eat lunch, then started grizzling, so he had a cuddle and a feed, and went to bed.
This afternoon saw us in a quick trip to Aldi to pick up a Salmon En Croute that Carol recommended to us. (It's amazing how cooking standards diminish when you have a baby). Tom then fell asleep for an hour and a half - very unusual for him, but then he hardly slept during the day yesterday and had a restless night. Quick query - why do babies sleep peacefully during the day and thrash about and grunt at night? Why oh why can't it be the other way round?
Late afternoon was spent cuddling, kicking on the play mat and then sucking his dummy during his witching hour (although today it was a half hour)
