We have had a busy two days, hence no blog. Tuesday saw us leave Crapstone (thanks Mum and Dad, we all had a brilliant Christmas) and on our way to Warminster to visit Lou, Tim, Jacob and Laura. They were all very well and happy. Tom did well, but got a little tired at dinner time which involved a little bit of grizzling, but other than that was ok. Unfortunately he got himself into a bit of a coughing fit at night, which led to a disturbed sleep, but can't really complain, he is sleeping sooooooooooo much better than he was.
Yesterday saw us travelling from Warminster to Godalming for Matt's Nanny's funeral. Yes, this is Tom's second funeral and he isn't even one! It was a disgusting day, the rain didn't let up for the whole day. Anyway, Tom once again behaved very well. He stayed quiet when he needed to and smiled and taught yet more people to clap during the little reception afterwards.
The service ended relatively early, meaning we were back home at 4.30 which was fab. The house as predicted was incredibly cold. We kept him up an extra half hour as he slept for so long in the car, it was a mistake, he screamed and screamed in the bath - really unlike him - he normally loves it. We thought he was in acute pain. However, he calmed down as soon as I gave him his bottle. I put him to sleep in his cot, his room was very cold, 12 degrees, so I put him in a long sleeved vest as well as the usual and then two blankets on top. We didn't hear from him again.
Oh - forgot to mention, apparently Laura was singing 'Wind the Bobbin Up' in the kitchen yesterday morning with Matt, Tim and Tom. Tom was sitting down, but apparently started to try to do the actions on his own. Isn't he clever!
