Miserable Day

Today dawned horrible and it didn't get any better. Icy, rainy, sleety, yucky weather.

Tom was an angel last night, he woke at midnight - I went in to settle him - needn't have bothered as he was asleep by the time I got to him. He also woke again at 5.30, but he chatted to himself for a while and then fell asleep again without me having to check on him.

He had a play on the bed with Granma and Pop Pop before breakfast and then a play in the lounge. As it was such a miserable day, we decided to take Granma and Pop Pop to a pub to say thanks in advance for Christmas - the only way we would have been able to escape the house so we went to The Rock in Yelverton for sandwiches and chips.

Spent the rest of the day inside. Tom had a good play with all the toys. He was a little better with the separation anxiety thing, went to Granma and Pop Pop without too much trauma and only came to me when tired / hungry etc.

It's going to be fun from this evening onwards: Simon, Jake and Clare are due sometime after 8pm. Then the fun really begins...
