A sunny, happy day

We had a good night - yahoo. Tom woke up at 11pm and 2pm, but went back to sleep immediately on feeding each time, meaning I actually had a decent night's sleep and he woke up a happy, cheery baby. It's amazing what a good night's sleep can do.
Had a good breakfast and then we all decided to go down to Saltram House for a walk as it was such a beautiful day - a good November clear, crispy day. Did a walk around the grounds and then had lunch. Tom was pretty well behaved - a little grizzle during the walk, but he fell asleep shortly afterwards. He did really well at lunch, he ate a whole pot of mashed up veg from last night (albeit mixed with some squirty sachet goo).
Came home via Tescos to pick up all the extra bits I need for the cakes and some food for Tom. Spent the afternoon steaming and cooking, made far too much so am going to leave some behind in the freezer for Christmas - will save any cooking then which will be good.
Tom had a good bath with his Pop Pop (it was hilarious listening to Dad trying to dry and dress him - Tom was being less than co-operative!) Then bottle with Granma and straight to sleep. A good day was had by all.
