20lb boy

Another fantastic night, didn't hear from Tom until 6.30 and then he was just chattering to himself until I went in at 6.50. Tom had his usual play on the bed, breakfast, nap etc. We woke up to a Winter Wonderland again - it had snowed overnight so there was a white blanket on everything, making outside look really lovely.

Got annoyed with myself this morning. Came downstairs to find a bottle of expressed milk in the lounge, I had forgotten to put it in the fridge. This is the first time I have ever done this, it was such a waste, a waste of time expressing yesterday and a waste of good milk for Tom. Can't believe I did it!

Today is weigh day and finally today we got good news. Tom has finally broken the 20lb barrier - in fact he smashed it - he is now 20lb 4oz. The HVs were as excited as me. Matt worked out that it has taken him 112 days to get from 19lb 12oz to now (with a lot of yo-yoing inbetween!)

Not much to report for the rest of the day, except that it snowed for the whole day. Went to Asda to pick up some bits for tonight (roast lamb tonight - we got a half price shoulder from the Co-op). The rest of the day was spent playing.

Tom ate very well again today. He is getting more and more brave with crawling. He doesn't think anything of crawling into the kitchen on his own now, which is a bit of a problem, considering there is a litter tray etc in there and the floor is generally a bit messy. Guess I will have to be sharper on cleaning and will have to keep a good eye on him.
